What a game we have in store for the early kick-off for the weekend for Premiership games, we have Liverpool vying to keep the neighbours quiet, but on the other side we have an Everton side that has lived up to preseason hype and are playing some great football. Everton are a team on a steep upward curve, they have started the season in fine fettle and will be looking to keep up that streak going forward. They are coming into this game riding high at the top of the table after some very impressive results. Ancelotti has been able to build a very dangerous squad and the confidence he has given the players is very evident with Calvert Lewin turning into a complete striker which resulted in a lovely debut goal for England. They have a large injury list and the one player to note in that is Allan who has been a great player in the middle of the park and has controlled the middle of the park this season, which will be a very big loss to the squad going into the game. They are still looking frail at the back and that does come from the mistakes of Pickford in recent weeks, which he will be trying to put behind him before his confidence has taken too big a dent. Liverpool are coming off a humiliating defeat to Aston Villa and will be looking to put that behind them after looking a very disjointed team during the 90 minutes. Aston Villa was able to dominate the game and got lucky with some big deflections however certainly deserved to win the game in the manner they did. They have looked very good in attack which will give them confidence and have been able to dominate most games they played for the last 2 years. They are able to come to a formidable rivals stadium and have the benefit of having no home fans spurring on the opposition. It is yet to be seen if they will add to the goalkeeper department after Adrian being a passenger in the previous game. They are still without Mane upfront which will be a huge loss and they will be hoping whoever replaces him in the starting 11 will be able to take on the responsibility and take the game to Everton.
